NORTHBROOK, Ill. (Feb 4, 2022) – Pine Tree announced that industry veteran Stan McElroy has joined the company as Director of Business Development. With more than 30 years of industry experience, McElroy will oversee Pine Tree’s acquisitions and business development efforts in the western half of the United States.

“We could not be more excited and proud to welcome Stan to the Pine Tree team,” said Conor Bossy, EVP, Director of Acquisitions at Pine Tree. “His expertise, spanning decades of US retail’s evolution, provides incredibly valuable insight as we seek to expand our shopping center portfolio.  It comes at an exciting time for Pine Tree as we continue to grow across the United States.  We recently closed on three new acquisitions and have two more projects under contract.”

Before joining Pine Tree, McElroy was President of BIG Shopping Centers USA, a subsidiary of Israeli-based BIG Shopping Centers (TASE: BIG), a public fully integrated shopping center development company. McElroy is credited with building a portfolio of over $1.2 billion in assets.
